With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Ames of Saugerties, New York, born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Tracy Gray and Addie Gray (VanKleeck); and her husband Albert Ames. She is survived by : her children, Michael Deiter (Sayda), Katherine Elston and Elaine Rasizer; her grandchildren, Jacob, Lindsey, Aleighsha, Beth, Hope, Preston, Demi and Joshua; and her brother Robert VanKleeck (Janet). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family members.
