He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Chubb and Agnes Chubb (Miller); his son-in-law Scott Richter; and his brother Richard Seyler. He is survived by: his wife Anne Sasso; his daughters, Kimberly Richter of Saugerties, Karen Chubb of Saugerties and Kelly Mazzuca of Saugerties; his grandchildren, Thomas Richter, Maya Mazzuca and Brianna Chubb; his niece Laura; and his nephew Paul Seyler (Chubb Cousins).
Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the grandchildren's education fund.
