He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Valk and Hilda Valk. He is survived by: his siblings, Florence Kelly of Saugerties, Jean Doyle of Saugerties, Diane Ortlieb (Mitch) of Olivebridge, Rose Schachner of Palenville, Joy Moore (David) of Rockport, ME., Mary Cabiao (Ben) of Alexandria, VA., Linda McAvoy (Ed) of Saugerties, Harry (Ruth) of Ark, David (Lenora), Joseph (Pat) of Palenville, Dennis (Bobbie), Thomas (Deann) of Utah, Stephan (Dawn) of Catskill and Michael Valk of North Carolina. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc. (45 John St, Saugerties, NY 12477). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 8:15 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
