She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Marrs and Mildred Marrs; her husband Alfred J. Sweet Jr.; and her brothers, Edward Wilson Marrs, John Carlyle Marrs and David Henry Marrs.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Sweet (Ivone) of Saugerties, Elizabeth Neilson (William) of Knoxville, T. N., Stephen Sweet (Jai) of Ithaca, N. Y., Jonathan Sweet (Marcia Baudanza) of Saugerties, Brian Sweet (Amy) of Red Lodge, M. T. and Kimberly Sweet (Meghan) of Noblesville, I. N.; and her grandchildren, Joni Sweet, Emily Sweet, Nisha Sweet, Mira Sweet, Christopher Whitehead, Henry Neilson, Jake Sweet, Benjamyn Sweet, Arjun Sweet, Jordyn Sweet and Kyree Sweet.

In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make donations to Hudson Valley Hospice and St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.
