It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred R. Scism of Saugerties, New York, born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scism and Dorothy Scism; her sister Carolyn Scism Roberti; her brother-in-law John F. Roberti; her brother Donald Scism, Sr.; her niece Debra Scism; and her nephew James H. Scism, III.
She is survived by: her brother James Scism, II (Norma); her nieces, Roseann (Jon), Lisa Uvino (Phil), Melissa Gregory (Kevin) and Michelle Hill (Joe); her nephew Donald Scism, II (Kim); her great-nephew Jon Decker, Jr.; and also, Jaxson and Mackenzie Decker.
Family suggests donations in her memory be made to Hudson Valley Hospice, 153 Sawkill Rd., Kingston, NY 12401.
