It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ormandy (Saugerties, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ormandy and Mary Bennett Ormandy Flynn; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Law Ormandy; his children, Michelle Desrosiers of Buxton, ME, Maureen L. Mazur (Kevin Norberg) of Gray, ME and Christyann Rice of Jacksonville, NC.; his son-in-law Steve Rice of Jacksonville, NC; his grandchildren, Brett A. Desrosiers, Denver N. Mazur, Jeremy J. Mazur, Stefanie "Rain" Rice and Kara-May Rice (JoeRay Villanueva); and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Nora Ray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
