He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blacker, Jr. and Hazel May Blacker; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Grossi and Tara Schatzel; his grandchildren, Michael Jr., Samantha (Brandon North), Lacey Schatzel, Jessica and Joseph Grossi; his great grandchild Payton North; his brother Dan of Mechanicsburg; Michael Grossi and Michael Schatzel Sr.. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
