He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his grandchildren, Melissa Murphy Etchechury (James), Captain Scott Murphy Etchechury of Amberg, Captain Shane Murphy Etchechury of West Point, NY, Jace Murphy Etchechury of Chicago, IL and Erin Murphy Harper (Eric); his great grandchildren, Aidan, Kaitlyn and Brendan Harper of Sodus, NY; his grandson Brian Murphy (Kim); his great grandchildren, Jack and Kylie Murphy of Warners, NY; his grandson Kevin Murphy (Nicole); his great grandchild Mikayla Murphy of Saugerties, NY.; his siblings, Tom Murphy (Jean), Margaret "Peggy" Vaselewski (Frank), Patti Murphy and Bill Murphy (Dana); his sister-in-law Linda Murphy; and his uncle Franklin Clum. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
