She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Carey Sr.; her parents, Clayton Baker and Esther Hyman Baker; and her siblings, Sheri Baker Addington and Reginald Baker.
She is survived by: her son Robert E. Carey Jr. (Jayden); her grandchildren, Chelsey Carey (Tyler), Natalia, Madalyn and Anthony; her great grandchild Emily Ammermann; her niece Kristie Addington; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Dunn and Kori Dillenbeck; her nephew Adam Addington (Cheyenne); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Avry Addington and Brynlee Addington.
