He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Eugene and Helen Jones Lansing; and his brothers, Richard and Howard Lansing. He is survived by : his wife Nina A. Cariglio; his children, Scott Lansing (Karen) of Utica, Susan Shepardson (David) of New Hartford and David Lansing (Joan) of Whitesboro; and his grandchildren, Scott Lansing, Jr. (Tori) and Grace Lansing.
