She was predeceased by: her son Paul Hill; her brothers, Henry and Morris Gridley; and her daughters-in-law, Debbie Hill (Yates) and Betsy Lagonegro.
She is survived by: her husband Wesley Barnes; her sons, Mark, Drew and John Hill; and her daughters-in-law, Kathy, Nicola and Benita. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandson.
