He was predeceased by: his parents, Danford Johnson and Calla Johnson (Ganze); his son Doug; his siblings, Pearl and Arlo; and his pets, Buck and Baldy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Johnson (Shaver); his children, Wendy Miller (Chris), Jacqueline Currier, Roberta Short and John Johnson (Tracy); his grandchildren, Aaron, Jr., Jason, Kim, Mindy, Kristine, Matthew, Christopher, Bruce and Amber; and his pet Odie. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren as well as a niece, cousins.
