Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Soper and Evelyn Soper; and his wife Christina Soper. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Soper (Jennifer) and Keith Soper (Nanci); his grandchildren, Zachary, Benjamin and Rebecca; and his brother Kenneth Soper (Jeanne).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who wish to honor Richard's memory to spend time outdoors, enjoy music with loved ones, support veterans, and support cancer research to find a cure and prevent it from happening to others.
