He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kahl and Winifred Kahl; his in-laws, Joseph and Leona Grzymski; and his brother-in-law Joseph Grzymski, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jane Grzymski Kahl; his daughters, Julie Kahl of Scarsdale, Laura Tikonoff (Matthew) of Arlington, Massachusetts and Anne Kahl of Scarsdale; his grandchildren, William, Elizabeth and Emily; his siblings, Susan Trojanowski of Eastchester and James Kahl (Caroline) of Alexandria, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Doris Grzymski of Chatham. He is also survived by his four nephews and niece and their children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home (824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (8 Carman Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583).
