He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Herman and Sarah Windley Herman. He is survived by: his wife Alice Harvey Herman; and his children, Caroline of Miami and Peter, Jr. of Chicago.
Peter's most significant contribution to community service was to the metropolitan region through his long-standing commitment to Regional Plan Association.
