The passing of Barbara A. Januska (Schaghticoke, New York) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 100. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephan Javorcak and Anna Javorcak (Glagola); and her spouse Miloslav "Milo" Januska. She is survived by: her children, Milo, Gemma Januska of Johnsonville, John Januska of North Carolina and Barbara Colling of North Carolina; her sister Maria Banic of Ukraine; and her sister-in-law Miloslova Bradna (Czechoslovakia) of Prague. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Transfiguration Parish North (17 S Main St, Schaghticoke, NY 12154). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Millertown Cemetery.
