She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Juanita and John Abare; her husband Joseph J. Gatta, Sr.; her children, Deborah Martin (Michael), Becky McAllister (Tom), Mark Gatta (Kim), Tina Traver (Don), JoAnn Pommer (Michael), Joseph Gatta, Jr. (Patty) and Gregg Gatta; her brother Joseph Abare; her parents-in-law, Carmen Gatta, Sally Gatta, Phyllis Gatta, Robert, Marianna Gatta, MaryAnn and James Marx; her brother John R. Abare, Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Mary, Joseph Gatta, Clara, Samuel Coppola, Tom Gatta, Genevieve Gatta, George Gatta and Carol Abare. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in Agnes' memory to St. Joseph's Church, Scotia or The City Mission of Schenectady.
