She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elmer and Mary Jane Reeder (Smith); her husband David Bruce Nelson; her siblings-in-law, Mary Nelson Nickele (Nick) and Doug Mesle; and her niece Sue Mesle Hester.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Bisgrove (Bart) of Niskayuna, Joan Haury (Don) of West Monroe, NY and Janet Nelson of Canton, CT; her son-in-law Bob Munn of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Steven Bisgrove (Deborah) of Delmar, NY and Madalyn Alridge (Chuck) of Freeville, NY; her great grandchildren, David Bisgrove of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Bisgrove of Augsburg, Germany, Hope Rauscher (Jake) of Ithaca, NY and Mercedes Alridge of Groton, NY; her sister Doris Reeder Mesle; her nieces and nephews, Joe, Mike, Matt Nickele, Richard Mesle, Anne and Maidi Nickele; Niki Rubin of Schenectady. She is also survived by cousins, grand nieces & nephews.
She moved to Loudonville Assisted Living just before COVID started in 2020.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 218 Nott Terrace, Schenectady, NY 12307 or to Planned Parenthood of Schenectady, 1040 State St., Schenectady, NY, 12307.
