The family announces the passing of Andrew J. Gnoinski Jr. of Schenectady, New York on August 14, 2026. Andrew, born on January 31, 1953, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gnoinski and Ramona Gnoinski (Martinez). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gnoinski (Gaige); his daughters, Darci Gervaise (Christopher), Marissa Haase (Tyler) and Kelsey Carr (Brian); and his grandchildren, Austin, Ryan, Isla Gervaise, Avery, Brynlee Haase, Oliver and Sadie Carr. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
As Co-Chair of its Annual Thanksgiving program, he helped guide the organization through tremendous growth and numerous challenges, including several program relocations, the COVID-19 pandemic, and many years of scrambling to secure enough food and turkeys to feed local families.
