He is survived by: his children, Michael, Grace Polsinelli (Peter Salat), Carlita Barnes (Bob), Antoinette Johnson, Angela Clute (Mark) and Catherine O'Brien (Joseph); his stepdaughter Gloria Thomas-Galaviz; and his siblings, Frank Miano (MaryAnn), Anna Cacchillo, Jane Schwind, Catherine Evans, Stella Connelly and Rose DeEilippo (Don). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“In loving memory of Angelo Joseph Miano, With deepest sympathies to the family of ANGELO MIANO I wish to share some memories with you .Angelo and I were long time friends in the early fifties .I mostly remember that he always wore his shirt or jacket collar up in the back..We rode around in his first car a 1939 chevy. His sister Anne probably remembers this. I will never forget the way he laughed. A few years later Angelo married and I did also and sadly We lost track of each other.”
