He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Marotta (Carese); his siblings, Giuseppe Marotta of Italy, Antonio, Dominic Marotta of Schenectady, Ida Columbo of California and Livia Perretta of Schenectady; and his daughter Tania Marotta.

He is survived by: his father Frank Marotta; his wife Silvana Marotta (Sacchetti); his children, Frank Marotta (Barbara), Antonio Marotta (Cheryl) and Liciamarie Marotta; his grandsons, Antonio, Nicholas, Christopher (Nicole) and Justin Marotta; his great grandchildren, Giavanna and Johnny Marotta; his sisters, Assunta Marotta (late Giuseppe), Emilia Mastroianni (Angelo) of Schenectady and Maria Sacco (late Antonio) of Italy; his sisters-in-law, Luisa Marotta of Italy, Flora Marotta and Maria Cerrone of Schenectady; his brother Louis Marotta (Carol) of Arizona; and his brother-in-law Ralph Columbo of California. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
