He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rost Sr. and Marilyn Osterhoudt Rost of Schenectady. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Rost; his daughter Micchelle Jackson (Michael); his sister Kathy House (Keith); and his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Damien, Elijah and Peyton Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
