With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine C. Kain (Schenectady, New York), born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on April 27, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: the father of her children Donald Baird; her parents, Russell Cloetingh Sr. and Georgiana Westhoek Cloetingh; and her brother Russell Cloetingh Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lewis Kain; her children, Donna Delhagen (late Harold), Debra Deacon (Gerard), Robert Baird (Ingrid), Barbara Luhring (Dave Wilder) and David Baird (Holly); and her sister-in-law Veronica Cloetingh. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Reformed Church (1010 NY-146, Clifton Park, NY 12065).
