As we bid adieu to Clara's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Clara has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Walendziak and Anna Gajdys Walendziak; and her brother Francis "Flash" Walendziak. She is survived by: her nephew David Walendziak (Debbie) of Broadalbin; and her great-nieces, Amy Steenburgh (Mitchell) and Lisa Rademacher (Tyler).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeLegge Funeral Home (1346 Chrisler Ave, Schenectady, NY 12303). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Adalbert (550 Lansing St, Schenectady, NY 12303). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Adalbert's Cemetery (2800 Hamburg St, Schenectady, NY 12303).
Memorial contributions may be made to the church, in care of the funeral home.
