It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel F. Maxwell of Schenectady, New York, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daniel F. Maxwell to pay them a last tribute.
As Daniel departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Daniel leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Maxwell and Rosemarie Garland Maxwell; and his sister Colleen Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Ryan Maxwell; his children, Lauren McCormick (Thomas L.) and Ryan Maxwell; and his sisters, Katie James (Bill), Mary Beth Maxwell and Roseanne Maxwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McVeigh Funeral Home (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (816 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12308).
