He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry and Mary Thornton (Ryan); his siblings, Harry Thornton, Edmund Thornton and Veronica Bond; and his sister-in-law Margaret Thornton. He was also cherished by his children and many nieces and nephews.
