He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Sliva and Charlotte Sliva; his wife Ann Sliva; his children, Julie Sliva Spitzer (Eric), Tom Sliva and Marie Sliva; his grandchildren, Sydney Sliva, Gabrielle Sliva, Katie Spitzer and Jack Spitzer; and his brother Tom Sliva (Susan). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Dan will be private due to COVID-19.
