He was predeceased by: his mother Lena O'Brien; and his brother Stephen O'Brien. He is survived by: his father Howard O'Brien; his wife Barbara O'Dell O'Brien; his daughters, Erin O'Brien Corrigan (Joe) and Christina Campbell (Lee); his adoptive son Benjamin Koegler; his grandchildren, Kyla, Kelly, Madison, Meghan, Kyle and Patrick; his great grandchildren, Elias, Nova and Owen; his nieces, Brenna and Jillian; and his siblings, Paul O'Brien, Aileen Svec (Rick) and Kathleen Rosenbaum (Lanny).
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeLegge Funeral Home (1346 Chrisler Ave, Schenectady, NY 12303).
