Dorothy C. Sawler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy C. Sawler (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elsie Acker and John Corless; her sister Anna Stay; her daughters, Marcia Galka and Louise Novak; and her great grandchildren, Anne, Meghann, Courtney, Chet, Chad, Devin, Tyler, Matilda, Anabelle, Arlo, Lucien, Willow, Henry and Eleanor. She was also cherished by the third of eight siblings, and leaves behind her youngest.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Jude's Children's research hospital or to the Schenectady City Mission.
