She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Capullo and Elena Capullo (Ippolito); her husband Anthony Cotugno; her grandson Adam Cotugno; and her siblings, Charles Capullo (Nancy), Matilda Ranze (Jerry), Mary Valletta (Anthony), Frank Capullo (Anna), Edward Capullo, Louis Capullo (Carrie), Alice Lunick (George), Armand Capullo, Ernest Capullo (Marion), Paula Capullo, Eleanor Capullo and Harvey Capullo.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Cotugno (Lynn) and Phyllis DelVecchio (David); and her grandsons, Joshua Cotugno (Kate), Brandon DelVecchio and Jordan DelVecchio.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Luke's Church food pantry.
