With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Morrett (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dorothy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Dorothy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto DeMania and Jennie DeMania (Mastrainni); and her siblings, Carmen, Albert DeMania and Laura A. Maynard.
She is survived by: her son Michael A. Morrett (Michelle K. Chank); her grandsons, Tucker J. Morrett and Samuel A. Morrett; her brother John DeMania; and her sister-in-law Marian Cintula. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
