It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Winslow Lis (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley J. Lis and Dorothy Mary Feely; his wife Christie Ann Benkert; and his sister Marjorie Garvey. He is survived by: his son Edward Lis (Dorine Peregrim) of Lake Placid, NY; his nephew Chris Belrose (Melissa); his great-niece Laura; his great-nephew Ray of Glenville, NY.; and his friends, Steve Sabourin, Mabel Cobb and Dakve Buechler.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Edward may donate to the Elizabethtown Community Hospital Nursing Care Unit or the Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady, Maple Avenue, Scotia, NY 12302.
