Eugene T. Rein Obituary

We bid farewell to Eugene T. Rein (Schenectady, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 21, 2025 at the age of 73. Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry John and Claire Rein (Diviaczky); his nephew James Lauer; and his cousin Johnny Miller. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rein (Roman); his children, Erik Rein (Bernadette Rasmussen) of Charlotte, NC, Rebecca O'Connor (Brian) and Cynthia Rein (James Mahoney); his sister Carol Lauer; and his grandson Angus O'Connor.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Madeleine Sophie Church (3500 Carman Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
