She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Hyman and Rose Hyman (Goldschlag); her husband Sidney H. Katz; and her sisters, Evelyn Pearson (Hy), Yvette Benson (Sidney) and Shirley Auerbach.
She is survived by: her family Marlan Decorators; her children, Marilyn Brock (David) and Alan Katz (Bette); her grandchildren, Lauren Brock, Joel Brock (Lindsay), Jason Katz (Phieng) and Andrew Katz; and her great grandchildren, Julia Brown and Sarah Brock. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
