Fred Winkler Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 6, 2019, at the age of 91, Fred Winkler (Schenectady, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Winkler and Blanche Winkler (Frueh); his significant other Rose Marie Thomsen; his sons, Frederick H. Winkler, Jr. (Rick), William Winkler (Bill) of Schenectady and John Winkler (Tina) of Maidens, Virginia; his granddaughters, Erika Winkler, Jessica Riccio (Alex), Courtney Honeywell (Christopher) and Stephanie Winkler; his great grandchildren, Ava and Luca Riccio; his significant other's sons, Rick, Jim, David, John and Robert Thomsen; and his siblings, Audrey Kessler (Dorothy Winkler) and Paul. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
