He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morby and Rose Morby (Hanley); and his siblings, James Morby, John Morby, Carl Morby, Raymond Morby, Alfred Morby, Rose Verespy and Eva Chase.

He is survived by: his wife Marion Morby; his children, Linda Morby, David Morby (Cynthia), Roger Morby (Cynthia), Douglas Morby and Stephen Morby (Sarah); his grandchildren, Callie Slater (Michael), Phillip Morby (Alyssa), Dillon Morby, Abigail Morby and Habte Morby; and his great grandchild Bryce Slater.
