She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cornelius and Carol Louise Young (Cooke) of St. Paul, MN.; and her son Richard William Strain. She is survived by: her husband Donald Dominick DeSimone; her son Robert Wesley Strain (Ursula); her brother William C. Young (Terry); her grandchildren, Jessica Louise (Martin), Marc Alexander (Dorina), Jean Marie, Richard William (Melissa), Eric Michael (Elizabeth), Sherrie Lynn and Christa Nicole; her great grandchildren, Gavin Parker, Eva Noelle, Blake Kennedy, Ethan Finch, Mia Valentina, Josephine Selinde and Thomas Wesley; and her stepson John T. DeSimone.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
