We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026, at the age of 73, Grace L. Girard (Schenectady, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Grace shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Grace farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Melville Bookhout; and her grandson Tommy Girard. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Boyle; her husband Thomas G. Girard; her daughters, Lynn Bouteiller (Butch) and Deane Sherman (Chuck); her sisters, Laurie Barone (James) and Hollie Lohn (Henry); and her grandsons, Tyler and Drew Sherman.
