She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mastroianni and Mary Mastroianni (Petrillo); her husband James Polito; her siblings, Antoinette Caffarella (Patsy), Carmela Sperduto (Victor), Delores Euler (Ernie), Marlene Mauro (Louis), Ann Esposito (Joseph) and Louis Mastroianni; her mother-in-law Benedetta Polito; and her siblings-in-law, Carmela Costanzo (James) and Salvatore "Sam" Polito (Angie).
She is survived by: her children, Michele Fretto (late Robert), Cheryl Polito (late Randy Pardi), James Polito (Lori), Daniel Polito (Patricia) and Denise Tidings (John); her grandchildren, Robert Fretto (Virginia), Stacy Hill, Dinelle Eaton (Kevin), Paul-James Hill (Tyra), Ciara Moore (David), Courtney McGeary (Kevin), Alex Cross and Aidan Tidings; and her sisters, Josephine Coppola and Donna Essery (late Jim). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (210 Princetown Rd, Schenectady, NY 12306).
