She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Fitzsimmons and Elizabeth Fitzsimmons; her husband Roy Vavala; and her brother Walter Fitzsimmons. She is survived by: her children, Linda (Paul), Samuel (Kelly) and Dawn; her sister Elizabeth Robinson; her grandchildren, Rebecca (John), Melissa (Bryan) and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha and William. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to an organization of one's choice.
