We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John F. Ellison of Schenectady, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ellison and Edith Ellison (Lowe); his wife Jean; his sister Margaret; and his grandson Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Porter (Allen), Sheila Smith (Howard), Michael Ellison (Lisa) and Richard Ellison (Betsy); and his sister Mary. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Episcopal Church (85 Lake Hill Rd, Burnt Hills, NY 12027). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Episcopal Church Cemetery (85 Lake Hill Rd, Burnt Hills, NY 12027).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in John's memory to Calvary Episcopal Church, Burnt Hills, NY (calvarybh.org) or the Organic Farmers Association, P.O. Box 709, Spirit Lake, IA 51360 (OrganicFarmersAssociation.org).
