It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John James Lyons (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on December 25, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John J. Lyons; his parents-in-law, Mary J. and Charles M. Quick; and his sister-in-law Brenda R. Tsakanikas. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie A. Patnode (Robert); his wife Charlene Bianca Quick Lyons; his children, April Lynne Lyons Boehnlein, John Charles Joseph Lyons and Nichole Michelle Lyons (Dennis Marrero); his grandchildren, Caleb Alexander Boehnlein, Olivia Grace Boehnlein, Julianna Elise Marrero, Jailynne Eve Marrero, Grace Anne Lyons, Dawson Elizabeth Lyons, Dionis Josiah Marrero and Denzel James Marrero; his siblings, Donna L. DeNovio and Eugene F. Lyons (Milissa); and his siblings-in-law, Joy Marshall (William), Monica Halfacre (late William), Charles M. Quick Jr. and Newton C. Quick III (late Darlene). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
