It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Michael Grassia III (Schenectady, New York), born in Niskayuna, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Richard, Constance Poltorak, John and Mary Grassia Sr. John; and his pets, Abby and Myah.

He is survived by : his parents, John Michael Grassia Jr. and Judith Grassia (Poltorak); his child Arlo; his sisters, Gina McDermott (Ryan) and Krista Rotondi (Marcus); his nieces and nephews, Declan, Liliana McDermott, JJ, Frankie and Mila Rotondi; and his aunts and uncles, Valerie Bleser (Raymond), Richard Poltorak (June), Vincent Grassia (Anita) and Sandra Gizzi.
