He was predeceased by: his parents, John Angus and Bessie Angus (MacKinnon); and his siblings, William Angus and Elizabeth Angus Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Birt Angus; his sons, Gregory Angus (Natalie), Todd Angus (Betsy) and Kevin Angus (Beth); his grandchildren, Jack, Mackenzie, Kate, Grace, Maggie and Zachary (Rachael); and his sister Christine Angus Urys. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
