With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Karian (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Khajagouni and Rose Khajagouni; his stepmother Penny Khajagouni; his wife Lillian Palmieri; his children, Joseph, David, Andrea Laiacona (Brian) and Michelle Rosenfeld (Jamin); and his grandsons, Steven, Daniel Laiacona, Matthew and Benjamin Rosenfeld.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Joe's name to the Voluntary Services at the Stratton VA Medical Center 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208. All donations are used to support local veterans.
