He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Diarito and Joseph A. Lucarelli, Sr.; his sisters, Rita Empie and Delores Merriner; and his close friend Joseph Montalbano.

He is survived by: his wife Jovan Lucarelli; his daughters, Lisa Lucarelli (Willie Griffin), Monica Lucarelli (Michael Hadsell), Kristi Lucarelli (Jeffrey Dunham) and Dana Montalbano; his brother Donald Lucarelli (Barbara Lucarelli); his grandchildren, Joey (Ashley), Talia, CaraMia (Aaron Castellana), Stephen, Kristopher (Brianna Gleasman), Johnny, Madelyn, Jeana and Juliana; and his great grandchildren, Delainie Lucarelli and Shepherd Castellana.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (2777 Albany St, Schenectady, NY 12304).
