With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julio L. Aliwalas (Schenectady, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Jose Aliwalas and Victoria Lansangan; his siblings, Aurora Aliwalas, Constancia Aliwalas, Patria Aliwalas, Mario and Jose Aliwalas Jr. Julio; his friend Emma; his wife Emma; his sons, Francisco, Julio, Ricardo and Edward; his children-in-law, Helen Bolivar Aliwalas and Ritsuko Yamaguchi Aliwalas; his sister Leoncia Dizon; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Lauryn and Rachel Aliwalas; and his niece Josefina Aliwalas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Madeleine Sophie Church (3500 Carman Rd, Schenectady, NY 12303). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorials be directed to Christ Child Society of St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd., Schenectady NY are welcome.
