It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luigi Gabriele Di Gioacchino (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedeo Gioacchino and Felicetta Di Gioacchino (Speranza). He is survived by: his wife Mary Di Gioacchino (Melaragno); his children, Rita (Karl DeBate), Remo Di Gioacchino (Eileen), Anthony Di Gioacchino (Brandie), Annette Di Gioacchino (Jeffrey Karbowski) and Michael Di Gioacchino (Julia); and his grandchildren, Giuliana, Francesca, Isabella, Sophia, Luka, Azalea, Zinnia, Aurelia, Giada and Constantine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and close personal friends.
