She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertrum Johnson and Mary Johnson; her husband Walter S. Hurd Jr. (Bucky); her siblings, Clifford Johnson and Maureen Fitzsimmons; her uncle Father James Kelly; her parents-in-law, Jennie Hurd and Walter S. Hurd Sr.; and her close friend Ruth Donohue.
She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Hurd (Joslyn) of Schenectady and Thomas Hurd (Traci) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Mary-anne, Thomas Hurd Jr. and Morgan Hurd; her sister Judy DiSantis (Richard); her siblings-in-law, Kathy Sparre, Jacqueline Hurd, Gregory Hurd and Larry Stanley; and her nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Gena (Tom), Christine, Cara (Mike), Matthew (late Rebecca), Deborah (Rob), Jim, Jullia and Jason.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
