She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Bessette and Elizabeth Mannix; her husband Ralph; and her children, Joy (Tom), Brian (Tony), Matthew (Cathy) and Mark Whitney. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Claire's memory can be made to Community Maternity Services.
